These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Rivox ("the App") provided by Hassmire Ventures ("we," "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The App helps you create quizzes, learning paths, and study tools using AI services you connect with your own API keys. The App is provided "as is" for personal learning purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and comply with these Terms and applicable laws.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information you enter into the App
• Keep your API keys confidential
• Use the App only for lawful, personal, non-abusive purposes
• Comply with the terms and policies of any AI provider you connect
• Verify AI-generated content before relying on it for exams, employment, or safety-critical decisions

4. API keys and AI providers

• You supply and own your API keys.
• You are responsible for fees charged by AI providers.
• AI output is generated by third parties; we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability.
• We are not responsible for outages, rate limits, policy changes, or data handling by third-party providers.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the App to generate illegal, harmful, harassing, or infringing content; attempt to reverse engineer or abuse provider APIs; or violate provider terms or applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

The App, branding, and original content are owned by Hassmire Ventures or licensors. You retain rights to content you create; AI-generated output may be subject to provider terms.

7. No accounts

The App does not provide hosted user accounts. Your data is stored locally unless a feature explicitly states otherwise.

8. Service availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. AI features depend on third-party services and your connectivity.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION, MEDICAL, LEGAL, OR CAREER ADVICE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICES.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms or provider policies.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may restrict access if you violate these Terms.

13. Updates

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the in-app "Last updated" date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Hassmire Ventures is established, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.
