Rivox ("the App") is published by Hassmire Ventures. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

1. Our approach

The App is designed as a local-first learning tool. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to our servers.

2. Information stored on your device

The following stays on your device unless you choose to share it (for example, via export or the system share sheet):

• Your name and learning preferences (goals, topics, reminders)
• Quiz history, learning paths, progress, and recommendations
• API keys you enter for AI providers (stored in secure storage)
• App settings and optional analytics opt-in state

3. Information sent to AI providers

When you generate quizzes, learning paths, or other AI features, the App sends prompts and related learning context directly from your device to the AI provider you selected (such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, or others).

• We do not route this data through our servers.
• The provider's privacy policy and terms govern their handling of that data.
• You control which provider is used and can remove API keys at any time.

4. What we do not collect

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, payment information, precise location, contacts, or photos through the App's core features.

5. Optional analytics

If you enable "Help improve Rivox" in Settings, anonymized usage events may be sent to help us improve the App. This is opt-in. No API keys or quiz content are included.

6. Advertising

If ads are shown in the App, third-party ad networks may collect device identifiers per their policies and consent flows (for example, Google UMP / AdMob).

Our website (learn-anything-43970.web.app) uses Google AdSense to show ads. AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. See Google’s advertising policies for details. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings where available.

7. Third-party services

The App may link to external websites (documentation, provider consoles, YouTube). We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Data retention and deletion

Data remains on your device until you delete it or use "Reset app" in Settings. Uninstalling the App removes local data subject to your device behavior.

10. Security

API keys are stored using platform secure storage. No method of storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your device and keys.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app document version and "Last updated" date.
